What kind of music do I make? In the end, genres are just shelves made to organize and sell. Music is music. I draw influences from funk, carimbó, house, sertanejo, hip-hop and countless other styles. It’s not madness — I’m just someone who’s deeply in love with music, no matter the genre.

    104 FUNK EXPERIMENTS is a conceptual project by Xandy NoBeat, where music transforms itself. Over the course of two years, the artist takes on the role of a runaway scientist, traveling through sonic universes in search of the true essence of funk and electronic music in all its forms. Each block of tracks represents a parallel universe, with its own rules, colors, and atmospheres — blending baile beats, synthesizers, global rhythms, and digital experimentation. Between these blocks, interludes connect realities, revealing fragments of the story and paving the way for new sonic transformations. More than a musical project, 104 FUNK EXPERIMENTS is an audiovisual journey — a laboratory of beats and ideas that pushes boundaries and reimagines funk and electronic music as a cosmic and scientific language.

The label was born with this spirit: underground, original, and completely outside the norm. Conceived in 2024 and brought to life in 2025, NOIZMEMO RECORDS carries the brutalist vision of Xandy NoBeat, who strives to create something genuinely original and marginal. It is a label dedicated to experimental music and true sound art, with a focus on electronic music in all its forms.

    In 2022, I started my independent work, when I could truly create and express myself, breaking free from musical constraints. It was also the period I dedicated to studying and fully professionalizing myself in mixing, mastering, beat-making, and melodies — that’s when my work truly became solid and definitive.
